PNC Bank and ADP announced a strategic partnership on October 28, 2026, to embed ADP payroll and human resources tools directly into PNC's digital banking platform. PYMNTS, PR Newswire Business, and TradingView all reported that the new offering, called PNC Payroll by ADP, is designed specifically for small business clients. The integrated system allows enterprise managers to operate payroll, human resources, and banking capabilities through a single digital platform. [1][2][8]

According to PR Newswire Business and PYMNTS, the new platform connects payroll operations with daily cash management, banking, and payment operations. Small businesses using the service will gain access to time tracking, benefits management, insurance options, and integrated workforce solutions within their primary online account. [1][2]

The corporate partner behind the platform, ADP, is a global provider of human resources and payroll systems. PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is one of the largest bank holding companies and financial services corporations in the United States, operating 2,629 branches across 27 states and the District of Columbia. [2][13]

The combination of business banking with human resources tools reflects ongoing digital expansion efforts across the sector. As FTMQ Business reported earlier, financial institutions continue to modify operational platforms to streamline back-office workflows and speed up daily management tasks for small enterprise owners.
