Roland Foods has agreed to acquire Savor Brands from Dot Foods, according to reports by PE Hub and Dealroom. PE Hub noted that Roland Foods is backed by private equity firm Vestar Capital Partners. Savor Brands, which is based in Chesterfield, Missouri, supplies global ingredients and frozen products to food industry customers. [1][2][5]

Dot Foods operates as the largest foodservice redistribution company in the United States, offering more than 123,500 products from 1,530 food industry manufacturers to distributors nationwide.
