Robinhood stock fell 7% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after the company reported third quarter earnings that missed analyst expectations. According to Yahoo Finance, declining interest income and rising expenses hurt the online brokerage despite record trading activity across stocks, options, and prediction markets. [1]

Yahoo Finance reported that net income for the third quarter fell 14% from a year earlier to $476 million. Diluted earnings per share dropped 16% to $0.51, while total revenue rose 12% to $1.42 billion. [1]

The financial results fell short of Wall Street forecasts. Yahoo Finance noted that analysts expected earnings of $0.57 per share and revenue of $1.43 billion, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. [1]

The price decline adds to a difficult year for the company on the stock market. Yahoo Finance reported that the stock has dropped more than 15% from the start of 2026 through Tuesday's close, putting it on track for its worst annual performance. [1]
