Healthcare investment firm Altaris has completed its acquisition of the life sciences and healthcare business from Clarivate, PE Hub reported. The carved-out unit provides artificial intelligence enabled data intelligence and decision support tools, PE Hub reported. These services support research, development, and commercialization for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology sectors. [1]
Clarivate offers intelligence services including Cortellis for life sciences, Derwent for patent analytics, and CompuMark for trademark services. In 2026, the company introduced Nexus, an artificial intelligence academic assistant designed to integrate library resources into research tools. [7]
